| Superior's launches new Bogie and Idler
Wheel Reconditioning Program Superior Tire & Rubber Corporation is proud to launch an industry-fi rst bogie and idler wheel reconditioning program. Aimed at saving construction professionals valuable time and money, the program allows customers the opportunity to send in their old or damaged bogie and idler wheels and have them factory-reconditioned to run like new. In a unique process, Superior removes all of the existing failed rubber from the original steel hub and applies a proprietary, long-lasting Xtreme® Polyurethane, renewing the wheel beyond OEM worklife standards. The savings are substantial. By utilizing the existing steel hub and applying a proprietary, high-quality polyurethane, contractors can reduce equipment downtime and maintenance expense, increase productivity, and signifi cantly improve their bottom line. The proof is in the poly. Superior’s Xtreme® Polyurethane is site-proven to provide maximum cut and tear strength and a lower coeffi cient of friction, eliminating heat build-up and bond failures. In addition, Xtreme® Polyurethane is U.V. stable and resistant to diesel fuel and other harmful solvents. Xtreme® Wheels are recommended for agricultural and construction equipment employed in continuous operation handling heavy loads, long runs, or high speeds.
